Deer Hunting

Blue creek lodge offers rifle deer hunts from November 22,2003 to January 31,2004. I like to handle small groups of individuals who know each other with a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 hunters. Remember my emphasis is on safety and quality. 

A little about our hunting... in the mornings, hunters will generally hunt over looking clear cuts, in hardwoods or overlooking a good trail crossing. Hunters are placed in either commercial ladders or tripods.

Stalk hunting is rarely allowed and hunters must stay at their stands. In the afternoons I like to hunt green fields which generally average an acre in size and are up to four acres. The green fields will either have a shooting house, ladder or tripod on them.  

Hunters are allowed one trophy buck per hunt. Deer must score greater than 90 inches Boone & Crocket. Hunters may also take up to 3 mature does per day or 5 per hunt.

Call to arrange dates. All hunts require a 50% deposit.
